Cookies

Like many other websites on the internet, we use cookies to collect non-personal information. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a website’s computer and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Cookies are used to help improve user experience. Some third party services we use (including Amazon, Pinterest, Facebook, Google Adsense, Google Analytics and Quantcast) use cookies to measure website traffic. Google’s use of the ‘DoubleClick cookie’ enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on the visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can find out more information about how Google uses data from websites that implement their services here.

No personally identifiable information is collected and you may opt out of the use of the DoubleClick cookie for interest-based advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. If you have not opted out of third-party ad serving, the cookies of other third-party vendors or ad networks may also be used to serve ads to you.

Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus also use cookies when you want to share content on your profile.

It is possible to set your browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent, however, if you do so, some parts of the Site may not function correctly. Each browser enables you to turn off cookies in a slightly different way. For example, instructions for turning off cookies in Chrome browser are explained by Google here.
